Carla is an associate at Cruser, Mitchell, Novitz, Sanchez, Gaston & Zimet, LLP. Her practice focuses in the areas of commercial mortgage foreclosure and civil litigation, including premises liability and automobile liability.
Carla is originally from Jamaica, where she received her Bachelors of Law degree from the University of the West Indies (Cavehill Campus, Barbados). She later attended and received her Legal Practicing Certificate (JD equivalent) from the Norman Manley Law School. While practicing in Jamaica, her areas of expertise were civil/commercial law, criminal law, real estate law and employment law. Carla became a member of the New York State bar in 2016. Thereafter, Carla joined a foreclosure legal practice where she handled residential foreclosures and landlord/tenant cases throughout the state courts of New York.
