ABOUT
Derreck Quarles was born and grew up in Baltimore, Maryland and earned his undergraduate degree in finance at Marywood University, where he was a 4-year letterman on the varsity basketball team and team co-captain. Prior to law school, Derreck worked as a claims adjuster handling casualty, property damage and bodily injury claims. He then taught high school social studies in Orange County Public Schools, simultaneously earning his law degree at Florida A&M College of Law in 2016. Derreck gained several years of trial experience with the Office of the Orange County Public Defender before joining the Orlando office of Cruser Mitchell. Outside of work, Derreck devotes time to fitness, including weight training and basketball.
