Ellen Manning Atwell is a senior associate at Cruser, Mitchell, Novitz, Sanchez, Gaston & Zimet, LLP. She specializes in civil tort litigation, handling the defense of automobile, premises liability, professional liability, and labor law cases from inception through trial. Ellen has also handled mediations, arbitrations and appellate work. Prior to joining Cruser Mitchell, Ellen worked for insurance defense firms on Long Island and has extensive experience defending clients in premises liability, labor law, and automobile cases in federal and state court. In addition to insurance defense work, Ellen has represented clients in Family Court and in matrimonial cases.
Ellen is a graduate of St. John’s University and received her Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School in 1990.
