ABOUT
Jane Ann E. Whitchurch is Of Counsel with the New Jersey offices of Cruser, Mitchell, Novitz, Sanchez, Gaston & Zimet, LLP. Jane Ann focuses her practice on commercial litigation and general liability litigation in courts throughout New Jersey as well as federal court. Jane Ann has garnered significant civil litigation experience over the last twenty years, having represented national insurance companies, self-insureds, product manufacturers, public utilities, public entities and private clients in connection with significant and catastrophic personal injury and product liability cases, as well as with commercial, construction and employment related matters. She served numerous times as an arbitrator in connection with UM/UIM matters on behalf of a large national insurance company and has assisted with SIU matters for various insurance carriers. Jane Ann was also tasked with managing both the workers’ compensation department and family law department at a mid-size firm prior to joining Cruser Mitchell.
While attending Douglass College, Rutgers University, Jane Ann earned a Spanish Language Certificate. At New York Law School, she was a writer and editor for two law school textbooks on remedies and environmental law authored by Professor David Schoenbrod. Jane Ann also co-authored a chapter on products liability in the Matthew Bender® legal publication, “Doing Business in the United States” (1995). Before entering into private practice, she was a legal consultant to the marketing department at OppenheimerFunds, Inc. in New York City.
Jane Ann has recently served as a guest speaker at Montclair University Feliciano School of Business and is currently the Vice Chairperson of the Woodcliff Lake Planning Board.
