ABOUT
Jason Zahur is an Orange County native and an associate in the firm’s Los Angeles office. He received his Bachelor of Arts in political science at the University of California, Irvine, and his Juris Doctorate at the University of California, San Francisco School of Law. He was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta fraternity while at UCI.
Jason has been working since he was 16 and hasn’t stopped since. He began his legal career as a file-clerk-turned-paralegal in 2018, at an employment and healthcare law firm in Newport Beach CA. After becoming senior paralegal, he had his first trial experience as lead paralegal in a sexual battery and employment case, representing a prestigious medical school, and assisted in reaching a full defense verdict on a multimillion dollar case, along with $10,000 in sanctions against the plaintiff.
He has been involved in several binding arbitrations and helped draft and disseminate key information and guidelines on reporting requirements during the COVID-19 pandemic to hospitals around the Los Angeles area in 2020.
During his undergraduate studies, Jason interned at the Compton Courthouse Self Help desk, assisting self-represented and often indigent litigants in their family law matters, including divorce, child custody, and restraining order filings and responses.
While in law school, he was the Executive Productions Editor at the UC Law Business Journal (formerly known as the Hastings Business Law Journal). Additionally, he was a summer intern after his 1L year at a catastrophic personal injury firm in Irvine, CA.
In his free time, he religiously watches his Lakers, enjoys gaming, and can be found at music festivals around the country.
