ABOUT
Madelyn Garrett is an associate in the Cruser Mitchell Chicago office, focusing primarily on general liability matters in state and federal courts. Prior to joining Cruser Mitchell, Madelyn worked on personal injury matters arising from premises incidents and auto collisions, where she advocated for her clients during arbitrations and settlement negotiations, securing upwards of half a million dollars in recovery for her former clients.
During law school, Madelyn focused largely on developing advocacy skills by completing internships with the Legal Aid Society and the Kentucky Public Defender’s Office, as well as an externship with the Kentucky Innocence Project.
Madelyn is originally from Kentucky but now considers Chicago home. Outside of work, Madelyn enjoys spending time with friends and family, exploring the city, trying new restaurants, and thrifting.
