Micaela Owens

ABOUT

Micaela Owens is an associate at Cruser, Mitchell, Novitz, Sanchez, Gaston & Zimet, LLP. Her practice primarily focuses in the areas of transportation liability, employment liability, construction defect, premises liability, as well as professional liability claims.

Micaela previously served as Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Mark P. Ciarrocca, Presiding Judge of the Civil Part, Law Division in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Union-Vicinage.

Micaela earned her J.D. from Washington and Lee University School of Law, where she served on the Moot Court Executive Board, as Lead Articles Editor of the Washington and Lee Journal of Civil Rights and Social Justice, and was a Student Attorney in the Immigrant Rights Clinic. Ms. Owens also won the Mediation Competition of the Washington and Lee University School of Law Moot Court Competitions.

Prior to attending law school, Micaela earned her B.A. in Sports Administration and Political Science from the University of Miami. During her time at Miami, Ms. Owens was a student athlete on the Sunsations Dance Team and served as Team Captain and Public Relations Officer.
