Robert A. Edwards II is originally from Pensacola, Florida. He settled in central Florida in 2006 after receiving a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from Florida A&M University. While attending FAMU, he was a member of Alpha Rho Chi, a fraternity for students of architecture and the allied arts.
Prior to the start of his legal career, Robert spent 11 years in a management capacity, as a masonry construction project manager and as an operations manager for Avis Budget Group. He entered the law program at Florida A&M University College of Law in 2014 and while there, was a member of the Paul C. Perkins Bar Association and was awarded the Gwendolyn S Cherry Scholarship.
During his legal career, Robert has successfully defended clients in construction defects and PIP coverage matters. Robert also represents clients in matters related to civil rights, business formation and negotiation, contracts, and intellectual property. Additionally, Robert is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Civil Circuit Mediator.
Robert is a member of the Seminole County Bar Association and has participated in community focused workshops with the Seminole County Bar Association Legal Aid Society. In addition to the practice of law, Robert enjoys spending time and traveling with his wife and daughter. He also enjoys music, sports, and reading.
