ABOUT
Robert Tandy is Of Counsel in the New Jersey office. Robert has extensive litigation experience representing employers in a wide range of employment and labor disputes.
He has defended clients against actions filed in both state and federal courts for a variety of claims including, but not limited to, those based upon wrongful discharge, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Conscientious Employee Protection Act, tort claims, restrictive covenants, and other contract disputes. He has also handled a significant number of matters pending before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and New York and New Jersey state agencies.
Robert dedicates a significant portion of his practice assisting and counseling clients in pre-litigation matters in addition to providing compliance and diversity training. He has presented lectures to the New Jersey Council on Education in Management, the New Jersey Society of CPAs, Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the Municipal Excess Liability Fund (MEL), Bergen County Joint Insurance Fund (JIF), and the Bergen Community College Paralegal Program
He has also been selected to the New Jersey Super Lawyers – Employment Law from 2012 to the present.
