ABOUT
Sarah Wade is an attorney in the firm’s Orlando office focusing her practice on the defense of a variety of third-party liability and casualty claims. The majority of Sarah’s cases involve catastrophic personal injuries and/or wrongful death, as well as gig economy liability cases.
Sarah has a wide range of legal experience representing all sides in personal injury cases – including working directly for a large national insurance company, as well as handling cases on behalf of injured plaintiffs.
Sarah earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University and went on to each her Juris Doctorate from Barry University School of Law. While in law school, Sarah worked as a Certified Legal Intern with the State of Florida, representing children in Foster Care system.

Obtained defense Summary Judgment on behalf of a major telecommunications provider where the Plaintiff was unable to show notice of the allegedly dangerous condition prior to the accident.
APPELLATE DECISIONS
Obtained a favorable decision from the 5th DCA regarding the amount of post-verdict collateral source setoffs allowed when Plaintiff received a compromised verdict. The Appellate Court ultimately found that the Defendant was entitled to set-off the full amount of Social Security benefits received by the Plaintiff, even though there was no explicit finding that the award of lost wages was duplicative of the Social Security benefits received, thus reducing Plaintiff’s award of lost wages to $0.
Obtained a favorable decision from the 5th DCA regarding the Court’s obligation to review a Personnel File in Camera prior to requiring its wholesale disclosure to the opposing party.
