ABOUT
Sean Keenan is a trial lawyer and partner at Cruser Mitchell with more than 15 years of experience litigating a broad range of civil matters in state and federal court, at both the trial and appellate level. Sean specializes in employment, D & O, and complex torts and products liability. Before joining Cruser Mitchell, Sean was a staff attorney at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, where he gained invaluable experience processing hundreds of appeals and presenting motions to the Court.
As part of his employment practice at Cruser Mitchell, Sean handles a wide variety of discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination and retaliation claims under federal and state law, including Title VII, ADEA, ADA and the FMLA. Sean also handles wage and hour claims under the FLSA, as well as whistleblower actions in front of government agencies such as OSHA and the NLRB. In addition, Sean provides proactive and practical counseling, guidance and training to employers regarding all aspects of the employer-employee relationship.
Part of Sean’s litigation practice focuses on handling catastrophic injuries and complex products liability matters involving a variety of commercial and consumer products, including chemicals and cosmetics, mechanical equipment and tools. Sean is often called upon by his clients to represent them in other jurisdictions, and he brings in-depth experience in the fields of engineering and physics, psychology, and human factors. Sean’s comprehensive understanding of products liability cases proves crucial in allowing him to quickly grasp the issues and evaluate risk to his clients, and his clients rely on him to provide practical advice to find innovative and creative solutions to complicated legal problems.
