ABOUT
Timothy Mitchell is a partner at Cruser Mitchell’s Seattle and Atlanta offices. Timothy’s practice specializes in first- and third-party bad faith insurance claims, with a focus on insurance coverage, automotive litigation, and property damage litigation. Timothy also maintains a strong litigation practice in a wide variety of other areas:

He also advises small businesses on preventative measures in their day-to-day operations.
He received his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and his Juris Doctorate from University of Georgia School of Law.
After graduation from law school, Timothy served as an associate with a boutique Atlanta law firm, assisting in cases involving minority shareholder squeeze-outs, wrongful termination, partnership disputes, legal professional negligence, breach of contract, construction litigation, and taxation disputes.
Timothy is a member of the State Bars of Washington and Georgia. He is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Georgia, and the 11th Circuit.

Representative Cases
Defended domestic insurer in third-party claimant's suit based on insurer's alleged "failure to defend" and "failure to indemnify" policyholder, arising from an underlying lawsuit. Obtained complete voluntary dismissal of third-party claimant's suit against insurer after only two weeks in case.
Obtained summary judgment of malicious prosecution and defamation claims against car rental company in connection with report of missing vehicle that led to warrant and arrest of plaintiff renter.
Represented insurers in coverage and property damage litigation in connection with Hurricanes Matthew (2016), Irma (2017), and Michael (2018).
