Coronavirus Statement

In an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19, Cruser, Mitchell, Novitz, Sanchez, Gaston & Zimet, LLP is implementing procedures as well as asking our business partners and clients to assist us in these unique times.

Our offices will be open in accordance with local guidelines for each state. General information is below, and we recommend that you contact your attorney before any scheduled meeting or proceeding.

GUESTS
If you display symptoms of fever, shortness of breath, cough, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea, we ask that you do not visit our offices during this time for the safety of other guests and staff.

If you are well, we ask that you:

  • Call if possible. Avoid visiting the office if matters can be conducted via phone or video call.
  • Wear a mask. We are recommending that all guests wear a mask or face covering when inside the building.
  • Avoid contact. Keep 6 feet of distance between yourself, other guests, and staff when inside the building.

GEORGIA OFFICE GUESTS
Under Georgia law, there is no liability for an injury or death of an individual entering these premises if such injury or death results from the inherent risks of contracting COVID-19. You are assuming this risk by entering these premises.

OUR OFFICE PROTOCOLS
We have implemented the following protocols in our offices to ensure the safety of our guests and staff:

Soap, water, and hand sanitizer is readily available for guests.

All common areas and offices are being professionally disinfected routinely.

LITIGATION
Attorneys in all Cruser Mitchell locations will continue to work on all matters, including taking depositions, conducting discovery, meeting with clients, e-filing, and all other matters required on a day-to-day basis.

Please note that some of our attorneys and staff will be working remotely, so we would ask that in addition sending paper documents via US Mail, FedEx, and UPS, please send all communications via email as well.

We are available to meet with you in person as needed and in the event of a face to face meeting, please note that we will endeavor to keep the suggested social distancing, and we encourage you to take all precautions that make you feel as comfortable as possible, including wearing gloves and/or face masks. We are happy to meet with you via video conference.
