Glenn Tornillo and Maggie Beall secured summary judgment in the State Court of Gwinnett County in a carjacking fatality case where an insured attempted to obtain benefits under the vehicle’s UM policy. The Court determined that the subject vehicle did not meet the definition of an uninsured motor vehicle under the subject automobile insurance policy nor did it qualify as an uninsured motor vehicle pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 33-7-11(b)(1)(D).
