Douglas V. Sanchez and Joseph P. Kreoll won affirmance before the New Jersey Appellate Division on April 26, 2017 of a trial court’s entry of summary judgment, which had dismissed all claims against our client in a case alleging claims for personal injury from a construction accident. Plaintiff had sustained a back injury requiring lumbar fusion surgery, and claimed total disability from employment as a result of his injuries. Prior to the entry of summary judgment, the matter had proceeded to mandatory non-binding arbitration, and the arbitrator had valued plaintiff’s damages at $1.4 million.
