Kristin Yoder Secured a Judgement in favor of the Defendant in Automobile Negligence Claim

Kristin Yoder secured a judgement in favor of the Defendant after the Plaintiff failed to meet her burden of proof as to causation during the course of trial on an automobile negligence claim. The Plaintiff claimed to have sustained personal injuries due to a clear liability automobile accident caused by the Defendant. Evidence presented during the course of the trial indicated that the Plaintiff had been involved in two subsequent accidents and that the medical treatment undergone by the Plaintiff was causally related to the subsequent accidents. The companion lawsuit for the passenger in the Plaintiff’s vehicle at the time of the accident was subsequently voluntarily dismissed based upon the same evidence.
