Alia Trafficante

ABOUT

Alia Trafficante is a partner in the Tampa office of Cruser, Mitchell, Novitz, Gaston & Zimet and focuses her practice in first party property defense, bad faith litigation, labor and employment, professional liability, and general liability, including trucking defense, negligent security, and premises liability. Alia has significant experience representing clients in various capacities and in the various stages of civil litigation, including pre-suit, examinations under oath, discovery, motion practice, and dispositive motions. She has successfully conducted both expert and fact witness depositions, and has effectively mediated and arbitrated numerous cases for clients well under settlement authority. Alia zealously advocates for her clients to obtain the best possible resolution.

Alia previously worked as an Assistant State Attorney for the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit, in Hillsborough County. As an Assistant State Attorney, she prosecuted thousands of cases from intake through trial with charges ranging from battery and theft to robbery and homicide. In her time with the State Attorney’s Office, she conducted over thirty jury trials.

Alia is a Tampa native and an active member of the community.
